Every Donation Matters!

At Raising Tactical Daughters, we are committed to empowering women and creating a safer world for our daughters. We believe that every woman has the right to take safety into her own hands, and we provide the training and support necessary to make that a reality. But we can't do it alone. We need your help to reach more women and young girls around the country and the world. By giving monthly, you can increase your overall impact and help us fight against domestic violence, abuse, assault, and human trafficking. Your donation, combined with the generosity of many donors just like you, will enable us to train and educate more women and young girls, creating a culture of powerful women who fight back. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of women and girls everywhere.

FAQ

Emma's Story

Name changed to protect Survivor.

Emma had always been a cheerful and outgoing teen until she began to notice a man following her on her way to school. It started with the occasional glimpse of him standing on the opposite side of the street, but soon he was showing up every day, following her every move. Emma didn't know what to do. She tried to ignore him, but the fear of being followed made her anxious and afraid. She couldn't concentrate in class and didn't want to leave the house. Her parents noticed the change in her behavior and eventually, she opened up to them about the man following her.

Together, they went to the police and filed a report. Emma's parents made sure she was never alone and they took turns walking her to and from school. The police put a restraining order in place, and the man was arrested.

Emma started to feel safe again, but the experience had left a lasting impact on her. She no longer felt comfortable walking alone and was always looking over her shoulder. She started seeing a counselor to help her process the trauma of being stalked.

Despite the fear and anxiety she experienced, Emma refused to let the stalker control her life. She started going to self-defense classes and joined a support group for survivors of stalking. Through this group, she met other survivors who shared their stories and provided a sense of solidarity and comfort.

Emma's experience was a difficult and traumatic one, but it taught her the importance of speaking up and seeking help. She found strength in the support of her family, friends, and the community around her. Today, Emma is a strong advocate for stalking awareness and works to help others who have gone through similar experiences.
